FOR THE FIRST THREE WEEK 

  • We start off week 1 with a holistic dancer wellness assessment. I will show you how to test your baseline cardiovascular fitness, perform a self-assessment of your wellness habits, and set goals for improving your performance.
  • It's exercise week! We dive into exactly which workouts you'll need to be doing to improve your overall fitness and perform stronger. We address cardiovascular and muscular endurance, strength and power. You will get a workout program, calendar, and tracking sheet to progress over the next 7 weeks. Starting your program now puts you at your peak, come December!
  • Visualization and mindset! You can be fit but still not perform your best if stage freight or self-doubt gets in your way! This week we learn the scientific strategies to get your head in the game. We will create custom audio clips to listen to over the next 6 weeks and before each performance.

What's Included in The Remaining 8-weeks 

  • Recovery strategies! By now, your body is probably fighting an uphill battle as you are taking classes, rehearsing and training harder than you ever have. We learn the top scientifically proven recovery strategies to help you recover faster and be ready for the next rehearsal.
  • Nutcracker nutrition time! We discuss the concept of      intuitive eating and the science of nutrition for optimal performance. We plan a grocery list and recipes for performance weekends. You'll know exactly WHAT to eat, WHEN and WHY.
  • Reassessment time! Now, you've learned a majority of the important information to get you to your peak ability by opening night. BUT how are we doing with staying consistent? This week we reassess our habits, change gears on anything that isn't working and take time to celebrate the wins we have made the past several weeks.
  • It's preparation week! Now it is time to dive into the details of what you'll need to bring with you to the theatre to be ready for whatever comes your way
  • Time for our final run through! This week we go over any final questions, clean up our performance technique and hammer down details before opening night! You'll feel supported and encouraged before stepping on stage.
